An occupational training in Switzerland
Switzerland has concluded agreements with about 30 countries in order to enable young people to extend their occupational and linguistic skills in Switzerland. To qualify as trainees, you must have concluded vocational training of at least two years' duration, and must not be older than 35 years.

European Nationals in Switzerland
On 1 June 2007 the ceiling for immigrants from the previous EU15/EFTA countries was lifted. This regulation also extends to nationals from Cyprus and Malta but not yet to the new EU countries.
